WAVERLY, Iowa- The Drake University men's and women's track and field programs saw both teams working together for a strong showing at the Outdoor Select on Friday and Saturday, Apr. 5-6, The meet was hosted by Wartburg College at Walston-Hoover Stadium and featured a different field compared to last week's Wartburg Good Friday Challenge.
Overall, the men's team placed fourth out of ten teams with 93 points and the hosts from Wartburg finished in first with 184 points.
Junior Justin Cunningham (10.66) placed first in the men's 100m dash after crushing the prelims with a meet-best performance.
